Our Amphibian Visitor
One morning, after it had rained heavily all night, we found a large frog in our small pool. There is a small hill above us and some tall grass and plants, and he probably had fallen from there. I brought Chris and Juliana out to have a look. The frog seemed a little injured, being unable to leap out of the shallow water. I later collected him in a small plastic trash can and left him in a grassy, overgrown vacant lot a few blocks away.
